This section of my page is where I talk about my campaigns and my characters, assuming that you, gentle reader, are the slightest bit interested in reading about them.

I'm reminded of GenCon (in Milwaukee) back in 1997. There was a fellow there with a T-shirt that read, "Don't tell me about your character." To some extent, that sentiment applies to campaigns, too. Not everyone can pass along the grandeur, spectacle, and excitement of the games that they've played. These things are not always given new life in the re-telling. Often, the best you can hope for is that the victim you've chosen to talk to doesn't seem too obviously bored by your monologue.

With that in mind, let me tell you about my games and my characters (again, assuming you care to hear about them). If you'd rather be somewhere else, I tend to doubt that you'd still be sitting here reading these words right now. Of course, I could be wrong.

Some people do prefer to read about other people's games. I know that I've done so in the past, gaining inspiration by the deeds (and misdeeds) of other adventuring parties. The ideas and concepts presented in these essays, if engrossing or unique enough, are easily adapted to my own games. With luck, the concepts and characters I discuss here will serve such a purpose for you.

My Campaigns
This is where I discuss the games and campaigns that I'm currently running, as well as those which have long been inactive.

Shadows of the Past
This is a blog for my current Midnight campaign. Details and such are available by following this link.

My Characters
This is where I discuss my favorite PCs, the characters that I've played or am currently playing. I'm currently between games, as the last one has been cancelled indefinitely. This may change with time. For now, enjoy what little I have to offer.

Creighton – A Man Without a Past
Late in 2004, I got to be involved with a group of guys who play D&D just about every Friday night. It's a men's club, of sorts, but it's still fun. The first character I played with them was an NPC-class warrior, just for practice (and to see if I would fit in with them, or they with me). It worked out, and my permanent character in the campaign (referred to as "Tantalus") was Creighton. Creighton's a swashbuckling amnesiac, mostly a do-gooder, though I suspect he had a somewhat checkered past that even I don't know about.

Eiji – Hyrkanian Princess
I ended up playing Eiji because our group needed a rogue. I had no problem with that, since I'd intended to play either a rogue or a monk. The game was set in Howard's Hyboria, which is a wonderfully rich fantasy world with a lot of potential. Be aware that this was well before the release of Mongoose Publishing's "Conan" setting for d20, so this character is not necessarily compatible with that release.
