11/16/2004: "It's A Boy!"

11.29.04
Gen Con is fast approaching. As I mentioned earlier this month, I'll be there the whole weekend long. Some folks have asked me what my schedule is like, to which I reply: "A plan? Me? Never!!"

Well, I suppose there are some spots that you'll be likely to find me.

Thursday I'll be around and about until about five o'clock, after which I'm headed over to the Galaxy Concert Theatre in Santa Ana to bear witness to a GWAR show. I should be around on Friday evening, unless I'm somehow captured and fed to Gor Gor at the concert.

Saturday and Sunday, look for me at The Game Mechanics' booth, which is booth #714 (for a map of the exhibit hall, please follow this link). As an added bonus, Sean K. Reynolds will be there with us.

I plan to be in the booth on Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 12pm and 2pm both days (maybe more, I'm not entirely 100% sure yet; I'll probably end up sticking around the booth most of the day, come to think of it).

So that's that. Don't be a stranger, come on by and say hello. With luck, I'll see you there.

It's been a little while since the last update. I can't say that there's much new to tell, excepting that our first child, expected to arrive in April, appears to be a boy. Ah, the wonders of the modern sonogram!

On the writing front, I continue to peck away at Thieves' World. I've got another project in the works, but mum's the word for the time being.

GenCon SoCal is less than a month away. Amy and I will be there all four days, and I'll be filling in at the Game Mechanics booth on Saturday and Sunday. I'm not entirely sure as to when exactly I'll be there, but it's a safe bet that I'll be in the booth between 12pm and 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. Drop by and say hello!

Rumor has it that the Fireborn Game Master's Handbook has been shipped to stores. If you've seen a copy, drop me a line and let me know what you think.

Bests,
