10/10/2004: ""Artifacts of the Ages: Rings" In Print"

10.23.04
Finally! The pictures from GenCon Indy and ComiCon are posted in the Photo Gallery. My portfolio has also been brought up to date, and a couple of links have been added.

Artifacts of the Ages: Legendary Weapons has been unleashed upon the world. Head on over to RPG Now and buy a copy!

A review of Artifacts of the Ages: Rings has been posted on EN World, and you can read it by following this link. In other Artifacts-related news, The Game Mechanics have announced that Artifacts of the Ages: Legendary Weapons should be released on Monday, October 18th.

Sean K. Reynolds has announced the formation of his very own game company, Sean K. Reynolds Games. His list of future releases includes The New Argonauts this month, and Hungry Little Monsters (which I contributed to) in November.

The print version of Artifacts of the Ages: Rings is all done, and I hear tell that my friends at TGM already have several copies in their hot little hands. This means I'm liable to get my own copy very soon, and it should be showing up on shelves in local game shops, too. Green Ronin has posted a free preview from Rings, and you can check it out here.

While I'm on the topic of Rings, there is a review of the print edition in the latest issue of d20 Filtered. I haven't read it yet myself, but word is that we got a very good rating. Buy a copy and find out for yourself.

This month should see the release of Artifacts of the Ages: Legendary Weapons (from The Game Mechanics), as well as the Fireborn Game Master's Handbook (from Fantasy Flight Games). Most of the work I did on Fireborn went into the Mythic Age setting that is detailed in the GM's Handbook.

GenCon SoCal is just around the corner. Since it's practically up the street from where we live, Amy and I will likely be there all four days.

What have I been up to over the last month or so? Brushing up on my Thieves' World mojo, for one. I hope to make a good showing of my involvement in the TW RPG, and I want to stay on top of things. The rest of my site still needs to be updated with photos from Indy, as well as a current list of my published works.

I've also been working with my friend Khairul Hisham on a project or three related to the Star Wars RPG. This is strictly for love of the game, and nothing else. As more news is forthcoming on the project, I'll be sure to let you know.

Cheers!
